Vintage Harrods Large 3 & 2 Seater Sofas, covered in Shabby Chic Laura Ashley Fabric “Baroque Raspberry Parchment Linen Union” (Pink, Pale Cream & muted gold).

These sofas have a Country House look with a timeless appeal.

The frames are solid hardwood, the very best quality, which you’d expect from Harrods furniture. They date from the 1980s, but the frame and springs are are solid as ever, and have at least another 50 years of life in them. They’re on castors, but they are very heavy (because they’re very well made).

They were professionally re-upholstered in Laura Ashley fabric in 2003. The cushions were replaced again and recovered in the same fabric in 2014 (by the same professional upholsterer). There is now a little wear visible on one of the seat cushions, although still in good useable condition. I have ringed the worn section in one of the photos, and shown the other side of the cushion in the following photo. So you could just use the side which isn’t worn.

I also have some more of the Laura Ashley fabric available. So message me if you wanted to buy that to recover the seat cushion(s), and I’ll check how much there is and give you a price.

We’re selling these sofas (reluctantly) after many years, as they don’t fit our new room layout.

N.B. The sitting surface of the 3 seater measures 6’ 1”, so can be used as a sofa bed if required. I can confirm that it’s very comfortable for sleeping on.

The scatter cushions are available with the sofas if you want them.
