Due to a small water leak we had to make an initial insurance claim to replace the flooring in the lounge. The sofa did have a very small amount of water drip on one side panel of the sofa. It did not drip on the main seating area or cushions. We removed the sofa from the lounge, dried and cleaned the impacted small area. Has been kept in garage since. The insurance assessor agreed to claim and replaced the flooring, but also included the sofa as we had removed it from the lounge. They didn’t even inspect the sofa.
We are now looking to sell the sofa which has had minimal use. It is in excellent condition and as new.
We are not looking to profit from the situation but to cover the costs of our insurance policy excesses and the delivery cost of the new sofa. Pictures show the set up of the sofa and the actual item for sale which is set up in our garage. All cushions included.
