Description

Parker and Farr made excellent quality sofa and was a renowned
British manufacturer of luxury bespoke upholstered furniture established in 1950 and based in Long Eaton,
Nottingham. Known for high-quality craftsmanship, hardwood frames, and traditional methods.
Our sofa was bought 20 years ago but is a timeless classic.
The sofa is in great condition only a few tiny scratches on the arms where a cat once tried to scratch, hardly noticeable unless very close up. Please see the photos included.
I use scatter cushions on the sofa back as I prefer no big padded cushions. We bought the sofa for £5000.

How does this work?

Sofalistic, is an online preloved sofa marketplace that handles the collection and delivery of all items. We enable customers to list, buy and sell preloved sofas online, safely and securely, 24/7.  Our team are sofa experts and are here to help support you in your purchase and delivery of your items.

What happens after I purchase?

After you purchase your item, you will receive an email outlining all the next steps. This includes, notifying you that we are now contacting the seller and that your money has only been pre-authorised. 

Once we have confirmed the sale with the seller, we then proceed to the next steps of booking in your delivery.  

Through every part of the journey you will be kept up to date with the status of the order. 

We only charge the amount that was pre-authorised once the seller confirms the item is available for collection.  

Our sellers have 48 hours to confirm the sale, after which time we will re-issue your funds, which normally become available the same day. 

Do I have to pay today?

We only pre-authorise your card for the total amount of the order. 

A pre-authorisation payment is like a “hold” on the amount of money on your debit or credit card. It’s not an actual charge yet, but the money is temporarily set aside to make sure you have enough funds to cover the sale.

We will only charge your card once we have confirmed the sale with the seller. 

How is my item delivered?

All items are delivered by a two man delivery team to the room of your choice.  At checkout you will be able select your preferred delivery date which will provide you with a delivery window.  Our delivery partner will be in contact every step of the way to keep you informed of the exact delivery date and time that works for you. 

What if my sofa is not as described?

In the unlikely event that an item is not as described when you receive it, you will need to contact us within two days (48 hours).  You can raise a dispute here.

You will need to provide photos and any other supporting evidence to help you with your dispute. 

This will then be expertly handled by our dispute team who will carefully review your case along with the sellers original listing and information to provide you with the best possible outcome.
